Our client is a NY-based company that provides services in the field of online education. They developed next-generation solutions and programs for teachers and students.

The Node.js developer will work as part of the client team reporting to and managed by the client’s technical lead under an Agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

Develop the client’s requirements using Node.js
Create SQL queries when required
Communicate in a friendly and open manner with the development team
Collaboratively create a good team-space to work
Create unit and integration tests for the developed components
Actively participate in the Agile ceremonies, including planning sessions

Required Skills and Experience:

Hands-on experience with Node.js
Ability to proactivity performs the required research to provide solutions.
Willing to learn other technologies, for example, Python, due to the solution interfaces
Be able to participate in all the Agile ceremonies
Troubleshooting microservices issues
Identify and resolve performance issues related to SQL queries.
Good spoken English (the person will work in a highly integrated Agile team with client’s members)
