DevOps Enginner Microcentro, La Plata, Mendoza ID166

Our client, is looking for a DevOps Sr Enginner to work in Mendoza or La Plata.

Responsibilities

Work with the SDK and VMware’s API development team members to refine and clarify requirements for development process automation.

Use appropriate technologies such as Perforce, Jenkins, git, Maven, Gradle etc. to perform build and deployment management.

Create and maintain documentation on CI/build infrastructure

Maintain releases for all SDK products including:

o vSphere Management SdKs (Java & .NET)

o vSphere Automation SDK for Python, Ruby, Perl and .NET

Work with QE team to ensure consistent execution of test scripts against current and legacy versions of vSphere.

Requirements:

Strong English language proficiency ( upper intermediate)

Strong Java Skills

Experience supporting development teams with robust CI infrastructure and implementation with Jenkins

Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years software/computer engineering experience.

Working knowledge of Linux or Windows development environments

Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferences:

Desired Skills/Experience:

Knowledge on Python, Ruby, Perl and/or .Net

Knowledge of VMware Products and SDKs

Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology

Experience with software development life cycle

Experience with SOAP and REST APIs including but not limited to WSDL, XML, JSON and XSD.
