Our client, is looking for a Software Engineer in Test with Automation

As a Test Engineering, you’ll be working with emerging software development technologies, building a new team and helping us scale. You will implement test tools and frameworks, set quality standards and best practices with the rest of the Engineering team, train them on care and maintenance to ensure continuous quality can be self-sustaining. As we scale, confidence in quality will continue to be an imperative, and you will play a huge part in its success. The Test Engineering team is in charge of building and maintaining test infrastructure, and tools.

Our test infrastructure and tools power our development and release operations and ensure high-quality product delivery to our customers. Our work spans across different teams, application and technologies. We also set quality standards and best practices, and communicate to internal  teams. Our current systems run Java, Javascript, Scala, Python, Postgres, Kafka, and more.

Responsabilities

Develop and maintain test infrastructure and tools
Define, monitor and report development process metrics
Define, review and communicate quality and software development standards
Optimize build, and test from development to deployment
Collaborate with Development on product test strategies and execution
Collaborate across teams to improve existing quality process and reduce manual labor by automating tasks on CI/CD pipelines
About You

You have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or 6+ years of relevant experience.
You have demonstrated strong proficiency in Java and/or Javascript.
You have built tools and maintained test infrastructure for engineers using any of the following:Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Gerrit, Gradle, Maven, NPM, AWS, and others.
You have designed and built test frameworks for engineers using any of the following tools:Junit, TestNG, Selenium, Robot, Spock, and others.
You enjoy working on ambiguous requirements and turning them into solutions.
You enjoy debugging challenging problems on any environment.
You have excellent written and verbal communication.
You have mentored engineers in quality and testing practices.
