Wr are looking for a Sysadmin / Site Reliability Operator (SRO) to join our Site Operations team.

As a Sr. Site Reliability Operator (SRO) , you will work as an individual contributor delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading the implementation of critical features to accelerate the delivery of our client’s products – both on the web and mobile.

Impact you will make in the role:

Migrate Windows platform to Linux (CentOS) from a 90/10 relation to a 60/40 relation, making sure the full availability and top performance of the platform. Support and maintainance.
Monitor specific metrics for availability, latency and overall system health.
Development and implementation of new IT infrastructure monitoring.
Continuously refine monitoring processes, thresholds, and configuration.
Being able to follow incident management procedures in production environments.
Understanding Root Cause Analysis determination and timeline creation.
Create and maintain documentation on installations, incidents, and procedures.
Work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure the reliability of the platform.
Participate on an Agile team, with daily scrum meetings, as well as planning and grooming meetings
Perform system wide analysis to ensure the proposed solution is the best-in-class without causing any negative impact

You will be:

Developing your monitoring skills by using different monitoring tools
Interacting with Cloud Services from Azure
Using and deploying differents applications with Containerization Software such as Docker Engine

Expertise you will bring in:

System Administrative:

Linux
Windows Server
Cloud Provider:

Azure, as all workloads are in this platform.
System Monitoring:

APM, Synthetic, Log analysis, System Metric
Ability to remediate, manage escalation
Monitoring graphing metrics and alerting services.
Create, edit and maintain operating system native scripts:

Linux: Shell (csh, bash, etc)
Windows Server: Power Shell
Others:

Experience installing and managing web servers (preferably RedHat JBoss)
An understanding of networking concepts of DNS, routing, load balancers, and firewalls.
Soft Skills:

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn from others and share knowledge within teammates.
Has the ability to rapidly self-educate on new concepts and tools as also being actively searching for increase self-knowledge.
Its required:

Availability to travel at least 1 month to USA.
Advanced English (writing and speaking skills) is required to communicate with technical teams and customers.
Availability to work from Tuesday to Saturday, or Sunday to Thursday (with Saturday and Sunday homeoffice), and National holidays (homeoffice)
Shifts: Morning (from 6 or 7 am), Afternoon (from 15 or 17 pm) with 9 hour shift and Night (starting at 23 pm or 00 with an 8 hour shift).

Its a PLUS!:

Basic knowledge of infrastructure orchestration software such as Puppet or Ansible.
Basic experience in on-premise infrastructure management and cloud-based infrastructure.
Basic knowledge on Containerization Software – Docker Engine.
Experience in tracking problems with ticketing systems.
English Certifications, driver’s license, U.S. Visa or European Passport are a big plus.
