This person will undertake the installation of new racks/cabinets, Optical and router equipment or modifications of existing installed equipment. Installations to conform to company standards, following Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) and within defined processes and procedures. Installation background with AC/DC power, rectifiers, grounding, structured cabling. Background in detail engineering, site surveys, site audits.

Main responsibilities:
Maintain the highest quality standards in all assigned data center locations and remote points of presence (POP).
Perform physical installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities as directed with meticulous attention to driving and maintaining the highest quality standards in the telecommunications industry.
Perform site audits and reconcile data discrepancies in coordination with Network Surveillance and other groups as necessary.
Perform site surveys in support of network builds, augments, or decommissions.

Requirements:
Proficient with laptop and windows applications
Understanding installation for Optical and IP carrier class routers (Cisco, Juniper) o Ciena, Infinera, DWDM equipment
Experience with running and landing AC and DC power
Understanding of grounding requirements for equipment, racks, facilities grounding, and H-tap procedures
Experience with installation of mini-BDFD, rectifiers, fuse panels, racks / cabinets on raised floors and slab floors
Experience with handling and troubleshooting Cat5 & CAT6 copper cables; running, termination, labelling and slack management practices
Experience with installation of high density fiber patch panels
Experience with handling and troubleshooting fiber optic cables; structured cabling, cross connects, fiber running, scope, clean, labelling radius bends, and slack management practices Experience with the use of optical light source, power meter
Experience MPO / MTP cables and connectors

AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL; It is necessary travel to other locations within South America as required(chile, Brasil, Colombia)
