About the Role

We are seeking a Lead .NET Developer to join a long-term healthcare technology initiative based in the U.S.

This role will play a critical part in evolving modern, scalable platforms while incorporating AI-driven capabilities to enhance data processing, automation, and decision-making across the ecosystem.

You will combine strong backend engineering expertise with architectural thinking and team leadership, helping shape AI-ready systems in a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers with varying levels of experience, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable code using industry-standard development patterns and best practices.
  • Drive the evolution and optimization of existing codebases to improve scalability, performance, and AI-readiness.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to define and implement AI-ready architectures, including data pipelines, service orchestration, and integration patterns.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-enabled features such as intelligent automation, predictive logic, decision support, and advanced analytics integrations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where AI/ML solutions can enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Write and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring strong test coverage.
  • Participate in peer reviews, code reviews, and Agile/SAFe planning activities to drive continuous architecture evolution.
  • Act as an early adopter and technical champion for emerging platforms and services.
  • Leverage modern CI/CD practices to support rapid and reliable delivery of both traditional and AI-enabled services.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies, cloud-native services, and modern development frameworks, proactively sharing knowledge with the team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working across modern AI platforms and legacy systems.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with experience contributing to shared team goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to innovation.

Technical Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience leading or mentoring developers in team-based environments.
  • 7+ years of hands-on development experience with the .NET stack (recent experience with .NET Core 2.x+ preferred).
  • 5+ years working with relational databases (MS SQL Server 2014+ preferred).
  • 3–5 years building REST/WebAPI services.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Istio).
  • 3–5 years working in Agile / SAFe environments.
  • 1–3 years of experience with Azure technologies (PaaS services and distributed system patterns preferred).
  • Exposure to or experience integrating AI/ML services (e.g., Azure AI, Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs) into enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of AI-related architectural considerations such as data quality, model integration, scalability, security, and monitoring.
