About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to support a strategic Discovery engagement for a large-scale, multi-company ERP transformation project.

In this role, you will analyze existing ERP environments, facilitate business discovery sessions, and define the future-state solution using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The project involves a Clean Start reimplementation across multiple operating companies, migrating from legacy ERP platforms—including Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009/2016 and Sage—to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Cloud).

The implementation will leverage an existing Business Central environment as the standard template across all entities. Historical transactional data will not be migrated; only master data and opening balances will be included.

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative professional who enjoys working with business stakeholders, leading discovery workshops, and designing scalable ERP solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead Discovery activities across multiple business units and ERP environments.
• Analyze existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Sage implementations, documenting current-state processes and system architecture.
• Facilitate workshops with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and IT stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
• Design future-state business processes aligned with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central best practices.
• Identify functional gaps between current ERP environments and standard Business Central capabilities.
• Leverage an existing Business Central implementation as the template for standardization across multiple companies.
• Define the scope for master data migration and opening balance migration.
• Identify integration requirements, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), EDI platforms, and other third-party applications.
• Produce key Discovery deliverables, including:
  • Discovery Report
  • High-Level Implementation Roadmap
  • Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Estimate

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience as a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar consultative role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proven experience participating in ERP migration, modernization, or reimplementation projects.
• Ability to lead Discovery workshops and gather business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Warehouse Management.
• Experience analyzing existing systems and translating business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.
• Understanding of ERP integrations, including APIs, EDI, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
