About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with strong experience in native mobile development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance Android applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications.
• Implement new features ensuring high quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Apply MVVM architecture patterns in production environments.
• Work extensively with Jetpack components.
• Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement practices.
• Collaborate effectively in an international, English-speaking environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Proven experience working with Jetpack libraries and components.
• Solid experience implementing MVVM architecture.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
