A great Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving and leading product initiatives to achieve successful outcomes. This position focuses on card present solutions in LATAM, requiring expertise in card present technologies such as POS, pin pads, smart POS terminals, and terminal management systems, including app marketplaces for Android solutions. The Product Manager is the key team member for their product, understanding market dynamics and building strategies to win. This role is outcome-driven with a strong sense of identity, affinity, and empathy for product users. Collaboration with cross-functional teams across Product Management, Development, Marketing, Sales, and Operations is essential to translate strategy into an actionable development roadmap. Close interaction with clients, customers, and partners is crucial to identify client needs and deliver maximum value.
Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy and roadmap for widely adopted business process solutions in the payments industry.
- Analyze internal and external customer behavior using data to identify focus areas.
- Enhance efficiency by optimizing workflows frequently used by peers, partners, customers, and clients.
- Manage card present products within a broader portfolio of payment acceptance and user experience solutions.
- Evaluate emerging payments-related trends, technologies, and vendors to transform stakeholder experiences.
- Work closely with senior leaders to align plans with our Client overall strategy.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about understanding user challenges, opportunities, and ideas for product improvement.
- Skilled in advising on product roadmap building and prioritization while clearly articulating product vision.
- Proficient in data analysis to create and justify business cases.
- Ability to understand markets and develop plans to compete against established and emerging competitors.
- Experience in creating business cases based on relevant data, establishing pricing models, schedules, and delivery guidelines.
- Empathy for users and a passion for enhancing user experience and outcomes through technology.
- Eager to learn and curious about product evolution.
- Ready to be an advocate and thought leader for products.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Product Management or Consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree/MBA is a plus.
- Knowledge of Card Present solutions.
- Experience in Financial Technology or Financial Services.
- Agile and user-driven development experience.
- Results-oriented with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
- Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
