As a Senior Infra Architect , you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the systems architecture for our data center migration project. Designing and implementing technical strategies to ensure Moneris has scalable, secure, and compliant Hybrid Cloud infrastructure that supports its business.
This role requires expertise in a wide range of technologies, including Wintel, Dell servers, Dell storage, Azure Cloud and Commvault backup solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems to support the organization's operations.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of systems architecture for the data center migration project.
● Manage Wintel servers to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
● Configure and maintain Dell servers and storage systems to ensure adequate capacity, performance, and data integrity.
● Implement and maintain backup solutions using Commvault, including policy configuration, job scheduling, and recovery procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. or Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Infra Architect ,
● Previous experience designing the architecture of a server migration project (MUST)
● Expertise in Wintel, Dell servers, Dell storage, and Commvault backup.
● Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and associated technologies.
● In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
● Proficiency in configuring and managing Commvault backup and recovery solutions.
● Excellent problem-solving, leadership skills and attention to detail.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
● Knowledge of networking principles and technologies.

We are in need of someone with extensive experience in designing architecture for migration projects, who has been an authority in the projects, has vendor management skills, and has taken ownership of those projects. We are not looking for just implementers with sporadic experience in architecture.
