Vermilion Developer / Engineer – ID 00367

We are looking for an experienced Vermilion Developer / Engineer with strong expertise in financial services and asset management environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and configuring the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS), integrating it with external data sources, developing reporting workflows, and creating high-quality investment reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Configuration

• Implement, configure, and customize the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) to meet specific client investment reporting requirements.

Technical Integration

• Design and manage data interfaces between VRS and external data sources, including:
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle
  • Markit EDM
  • Aladdin
  • APIs
  • XML
  • JSON

Workflow Automation

• Build, test, and maintain automated reporting workflows and batch processing.

Report Development

• Design and develop high-quality, branded reports and templates in:
  • PDF
  • Microsoft Office
  • HTML
• Develop reporting solutions for various asset classes.

Testing & Troubleshooting

• Conduct system testing.
• Perform data validation.
• Troubleshoot technical and data-related issues.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and overall platform performance.

Required Technical & Professional Skills

Domain Expertise

• 8–10 years of experience in enterprise software implementation.
• Specific experience within financial services and/or asset management environments.

Core Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes.
• Database debugging experience.

Vermilion Reporting Suite

• Deep knowledge of VRS modules.
• Experience with VRS APIs.
• Strong knowledge of VRS report design.

Financial Knowledge

Understanding of:

• Performance measurement.
• Client reporting.
• Portfolio data.
• Fixed Income.
• Equity.
• Derivatives.

Soft Skills

• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Additional Tools

• Experience with Power BI.

Location Requirement

Candidates must be located in South America and able to work according to Eastern Time (ET).

Work Modality

Hybrid – 1 or 2 days per week at our offices in Parque Patricios.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Language Requirement

Advanced English is mandatory, as all technical interviews will be conducted in English.
