Our client, is looking  for a Perl Developer Sr

Your Responsibilities: 
Handle all development tasks related to enhancements, feature requests, bug fixes or support queries on:vSphere Management Assistant (vMA),
vSphere CommandLine Interface/vSphere PERL SDK,
vSphere Automation PERL SDK,
Work with vAPI team building PERL client SDK’s and samples for the REST-based API’s,
Manage OpenSource Package upgrades/maintenance for the PERL SDK’s,
Work with QA engineers to ensure software testability, stability and quality,
Work with the technical publications team to ensure high-quality documentation of the product and its APIs.

Requirements:
Strong English language proficiency,
Experience with designing client side language SDKs for PERL with interest in learning other languages (JavaScript, Go, PERL),
MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, or a BS with a strong software development background,
Experience with SOAP and REST APIs including but not limited to WSDL, XML, JSON and XSD,
Working knowledge of Linux or Windows development environments,
Experience in developing modular and extensible code,
Experience with writing high-quality, well-architected and well-documented code,
Strong analytical and debugging skills,
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferences
Knowledge of VMware Products and SDKs,
Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology,
Experience developing or contributing to open-source projects,
Experience with github, Perforce, Bugzilla,
Experience with REST API’s,
Familiarity with one or more Virtualization or Cloud Platforms.
