As a Linux Systems Programmer and Administrator you will be involved in that transformation by doing research, development using cutting-edge technology and providing innovative solutions to improve customer experience.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

Installation, deployment, configuration and maintenance in production environments in an efficient and professional manner
Planning and estimating simultaneous tasks, according to own skill level and experience
Escalate deviations from estimate accordingly in order to take necessary actions
Create and maintain documentation
Customer On-site Improving the quality of the product, as well as suggesting improvements
Respond to tickets with the proper Customer Service Level
Participate in calls with customer and different teams in other countries

Technical requirements:

Advanced English

Programming knowledge in at least one language or equivalent
Knowledge in various Linux services, distributions and tools:
Linux administration:
File system hierarchy and partitioning
Grouping and Permissions OS knowledge experience in at least one of the following: CentOS/RedHat – Debian – SuSe
Package management: yum – cypher – apt
Networking:
Basic troubleshooting
TCP/IP – UDP – DHCP
SSH tunneling
Routing tables
Bonding
Databases:
IBM DB2
