Responsibilities:

Coding new features for existing web applications
Data modeling
Diagnosing and implementing bug fixes
Optimizing and tuning application performance
Code review

Qualifications:

3+ years PHP experience building and designing web applications
Knowledge of the MVC Architectural Pattern and API / REST related concepts
Strong commitment to web standards, documentation, and best practices
Experience with modern PHP Frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc…
Experience with version control software (e.g. Git, Subversion, etc.).
Solid understanding of relational databases and interacting in mySQL
Familiarity with the LAMP environment.
Experience working in a Linux shell environment
Comfortable writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Comfortable writing Unit / Functional tests
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Upper intermediate english level or more

Desirable:

MySQL and Apache administration
DevOps
Virtualization Technologies such as Docker, Vagrant
Cloud Hosting knowledge such as AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure
JQuery and JS frameworks
PHP CMSes: Drupal, Joomla, Concrete5
